Project Manager/Engineer

McKernan Inc. is a contracting firm that specializes in commercial doors/frame/hardware and is headquartered in Redlands, CA. We are looking to expand our estimating/project management division with a qualified individual who possesses a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and good computer/word processing skills. The ideal candidate is someone who is extremely capable of managing multiple projects and tasks at one time. This is a fast-paced environment and requires very focused attention to detail. The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in day-to-day construction management operations
  • Purchasing
  • Customer/Vendor communication
  • Ensuring project is being built correctly
  • Project schedule management and forecasting
  • Submittal creation and implementation
  • Extensive knowledge of the door/frame/hardware industry
  • 3-5 years’ experience required
  • Proficient at reading architectural plans and specifications
  • Ability to manage projects from estimating stage through to final installation
  • Candidates MUST BE team oriented and SELF-MOTIVATED
